Program Costs (Distance Education)Course CostsEngineering distance education graduate tuition is approximately $519 per credit hour, or about $1500 per course. Tuition is subject to change until approved by the Board of Regents each summer. Students' only additional expense will be their textbooks. For the most up-to-date course costs, refer to the Course Listing, where the cost of each course will be listed in the course description. PaymentBeginning with the Fall 2004 semester, students will be billed for their K-State tuition and fees. An invoice, called a Statement of Account (SOA), will be mailed to students from the K-State Cashier's Office approximately one month before the semester starts. Additional information about due dates and payment methods, including additional financing options, will be sent with the SOA. Late FeesA $25 late fee will be charged for enrollments received after the first day of class. Late enrollments will be accepted with instructor permission only. Refunds, Withdrawals, and Status ChangesThere is a full refund if a course is cancelled. Other refunds are possible for a limited time. All requests for withdrawals and status changes must be submitted in writing. Click here for an online drop form. ScholarshipsInformation about scholarships available to MSE students can be found at http://www.dce.k-state.edu/students/services/fin_aid.shtml. Financial AidYou may be eligible for financial aid for distance education courses if you meet the federal requirements, and (1) you are admitted and enrolled as a degree-seeking student at Kansas State University; and (2) you are enrolled in at least six hours at Kansas State University.
